Howe...Normally I avoid stories written as a series. However, knowing Debra Anastasia is a top notch author, I took a chance on her Poughkeepsie series. Each book (Poughkeepsie, Return to Poughkeepsie) had me riveted to my chair. What I loved most was the depth of her remarkable characters. The action was so fast paced that my kindle's screen got hot with me 'flipping' to the next page. What is unusual is this. Even after reading a very good novel, I often forget the details of the story within a few weeks. Not so with Poughkeepsie. The intensity of the story's themes, the gut wrenching emotional turmoil, the sexual heat, the everything was so cleverly written that I'll remember Poughkeepsie for years. Warning: This story is best suited for mature adults.F. Stonehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16241888058278268890noreply@blogger.com
