Cover Reveal: Blind Love by @Kishan_Paul #Giveaway

I'm super excited about this book because it features a psychologist as the heroine! Title: Blind Love Author: Kishan Paul Release Date: June 2, 2015 Genre: Contemporary Romance Publisher: Samhain Publishing She doesn’t need a hero. But a sexy Marine…that’ll work. At twenty nine, psychologist Lauren Baxter has a successful counseling practice. Since becoming legally blind at fifteen, her world has been a blurry mess of colors. Her greatest fear is also her ultimate reality. One day that fuzzy realm will forever turn black. Refusing to let blindness define her, she builds a life for herself with her dog, Jack Sparrow, and best friend, Sunny Daye. Lauren has no tolerance for pity or for Superman swooshing down and rescuing her. She is capable of saving herself just fine. That is until Gabe, the great smelling, former Marine, from Texas moves in next door. Her attraction to him is immediate and, unfortunately for her, mutual. When La

New Release: Trouble Me by @BeckAndersonID #Romance #Series

I'm excited to celebrate  Trouble Me by Beck Anderson! I loved book one of the series: Fix You . Read my review HERE . In Fix You , movie star Andrew Pettigrew (Andy to his fans, Andrew to his friends) somehow found the level-headed love he was looking for in young widow and “regular girl” Kelly Reynolds. Now, as they work to mesh their growing relationship with his gold-statue ambitions, things go a bit sideways, in true Hollywood fashion. Though they’re still wonderfully in love, it’s challenge enough for Andrew and Kelly to decipher what it means to be a family—and a growing family at that—between takes on set. But Andrew also brings history with a temperamental co-star, assorted paparazzi, and someone out there who has serious, perhaps obsessive, issues with him into the mix. Suddenly the Reynolds-Pettigrew clan must fight not just to stay together, but to stay safe.  In Trouble Me , the sequel to Fix You and third novel from Rita finalist Beck Anderson, K

#IWSG What's Easiest and Hardest to #Write ?

Whoops! Almost forgot this month's IWSG in the midst of planning for trips to Chicago and Hawaii, a broken air conditioner, and installation of new carpet and sectional sofa. Thanks to Alex J Cavanaugh for creating IWSG, and awesome co-hosts Eva Solar Melanie Schulz, Lisa-Buie Collard, and Stephen Tremp. How's your writing coming along? I wish it could go faster but I guess the muse can't be rushed. I'm about 36K words into my work in progress, ACED (Blocked #2). Next up is a therapy chapter which is always easier for me to write. I throw my characters into therapy on a regular basis--I torture them so much that they need it! I'm struggling a bit with the pacing of the romance. While it's not insta-love, I have a tendency to rush things. I'm grateful for my critique partner Nicki Elson, who just released a wonderful romance ( VIBRIZZIO ). See my post below to read my review and enter the giveaway. What type of chapters/scenes are easiest f
