With Good Behavior Synopsis

For those of you new to the blog, here is a summary of my novel:

In a world gripped by organized crime, family dysfunction, and dim hopes of redemption, can true love persevere? For Sophie Taylor, a beautiful psychologist who lost everything when she violated an ethical boundary, and Grant Madsen, a handsome naval officer who sacrificed everything to protect a loved one, finding that love may carry an unbearable cost.

Starting their lives over in Chicago, both are fighting influences from their family and running as fast as they can to escape the past. When their paths cross outside the parole officer's door, the attraction is instantaneous. But a hidden connection may not only shatter their fledgling love, but prove deadly to them both.

Hi,

This sounds like a super read!

Have read excerpt (1st chap)- thumbs up!

Have you gone the self-publishing route, if so well done. The site looks really professioal.

Hey Francine,
Thanks! I'm glad the story sounds good and that you give the first chapter a thumbs up. I didn't end up going the self-publishing route. Omnific is a small woman-owned company that just started publishing in February, 2010, so we're trying to get the word out about our novels. At this point the ebooks and print copies are available online at http://omnificpublishing.com or at http://amazon.com I'm about to order some of my fellow Omnific authors books and I'm looking forward to diving into them!

Your followers are your "minions", hey? ;) And the blog hop is neverending?!

Exciting synopsis - yet it doesn't even do the book justice!
To those of you who haven't read With Good Behavior yet, I highly recommend it (See my review on Goodreads).

I saw that heading for followers, "Minions", on another blog and promptly imported it 'cause it made me laugh! Thanks for your kickass review, Josh! I'm going to paste it here since I liked it so much: Josh said . . .

"A brilliant breakout novel by an author I'll definitely be keeping my eye on. The two main characters embark on a romance and I was relieved to find that there wasn't a corny/sappy moment in sight! The intricate characters drew me in and I felt strongly about all of them, which for me is a sign of an excellent novel. The storyline is unique (rare!) and it kept my interest piqued the whole way through. Poignant, joyful, raw, funny, darn exciting/nervewracking - this novel had it all! One for the bookshelf - I'll be reading THIS one again."
